NEEDS ANALYSIS: Abbey Marina

Abbey Marina needed a website when they were referred to Signalfire in the fall of 2008. Signalfire worked with their new Harbormaster to understand the Marina’s immediate areas of concern, their customers, and their long-term goal to become the premier marina on Geneva Lake.

As a culmination of the needs analysis process, Signalfire outlined a plan that included a total branding makeover, a website, an online newsletter to replace a print version, and a consolidation of several marketing pieces into one multi-purpose brochure. By going through the needs analysis process, they got the critical brand tools they needed to compete and succeed in their market.

Plans are already underway to enhance the website with video, social media, and online slip management. In response to a customer survey, Abbey Marina will open a new restaurant—the Harbor House Bar and Grill—in the summer of 2009 to further position the Marina as the leader in their market.
